Four factors in the cost

2.  System Hardware:  iWayPatrol for Libraries is provided on the SUN Sun Fire V60x Server. This is a 1U format, rack mount. The actual configuration is flexible and dependent upon the local system needs. Also, alternative hardware configuragtions can be provided. And iWayPatrol software is available for installation via the Internet on equipment provided by the Library, running Linux, Solaris or any other form of Unix Operating software.. 

3.  Installation:  Installation and training support are available at iTECH's Standard Service Rates. Installation on existing hardware or on an iTECH Turnkey Filter Server averages 2 to 4 hours.  Interface to the library data base and swipe card readers depend on the details of the software that is involved. When possible the software installation will be delivered via the Internet.

4.  List and Software Maintenance:   The generation and update of the list of pornographic sites is ongoing.  iTECH provides an automatic daily updates to the web blocking list via the Internet.    The monthly maintenance fee is scaled to the number of Internet computers on the filter network. The maintenance fee also covers phone support and software support and updates.

Because these four factors differ between systems, a quotation will be provided in each case.
